The B.Tech. Program is a four-year, eight-semester, full-time, campus-based program. The Program provides cutting edge education to equip students with comprehensive and critical understanding in various branches of engineering.
Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for admission into the B.Tech. Program is 60% aggregate and above in 12th Class examinations or its equivalent with pass in each of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. The applicant should fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination.
Admission Process: The admission into the B.Tech. Program is made through application. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program using the Application Form given in the Application Material. The University will offer provisional admissions based on marks scores/ ranks obtained in the entrance tests mentioned above, subject to the students satisfying all the eligibility criteria.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya was founded on March 4, 1902 by Swami Shraddhanandaji with the sole aim to revive the ancient Indian Gurukula System of education, on the bank of Ganges at a distance of about 6 km. from Hardwar and about 200 km. from Delhi. This institution was established with the objective of providing an indigenous alternative to Lord Macaulay’s education policy by imparting education in the areas of vedic literature, Indian philosophy, Indian culture, modern sciences and research.
Arya Samaj has been advocating women’s education since the day it was founded. As part of its policies for the up-liftment of women in the country, Kanya Gurukula Mahavidyalaya, Dehradun was established in 1922 by Acharya Ramdevji as a second campus of women’s education. To give real shape to the dreams of Swami Shraddhanandaji, a new campus for women’s education, Kanya Gurukula Mahavidyalaya, Hardwar was established in 1993 for PG classes for girls.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has invited applications from regular teachers of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved degree level engineering institutions, NITs and NITTTRs, for admission into Master of Technology (M Tech)/Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme under Quality Improvement Programme (QIP), to be offered in the ensuing session 2011.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates can fill and submit the completed application form online by visiting the institute’s official website: http://www.iitr.ernet.in/QIP_admissions_10/. Thereafter, candidates are required to send the printout of the online application form duly forwarded by the Principal/Head of the Institution along with relevant enclosures accompanied by DD of Rs 500 (Rs 250 for PD/SC/ST) drawn in favor of IIT Roorkee QIP payable at Roorkee to the Principal Coordinator QIP, Quality Improvement Programme Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee – 247 667. Candidates can obtain the printed information brochure from IIT Roorkee by sending a DD of Rs 100 drawn in favor of IIT Roorkee QIP payable at Roorkee, along with a self addressed A4 size envelope. Programme for which the admission is desired (M Tech or PhD) should be clearly written on the top of envelope. For further details, candidates can visit the institute’s aforementioned website.
