Karnataka PGCET Cell (KPC) – M.E. / M.Tech. / MBA (Infrastructure Management) Admission 2010

Admission to Full Time and Part Time, M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch. / MBA (Infrastructure Mgmt)

For Admission to M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch./ MBA (Infrastructure Management) Course (Full-Time) : Course is open for

i) Candidates who have passed the prescribed Qualifying Examinations as specified in the brochure with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters / years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters / years divided by the sum of the maximum marks). However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and CAT-1, marks shall not be less than 45 %.

ii) Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and expecting the result within the last date as prescribed by the PGCET cell.

For Admission to M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch. (Part-Time): in addition to the qualification prescribed above, the candidates must have worked for not less than three years (after qualifying examination, experience is considered up to the date of notification ie 17-5-2010) in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeksadmission. However, the employer has to fill-up the NOC duly signed by the competent authority which is in item No. 15 of the application form.

Candidates shall download blank application form from www.vtu.ac.in or http://pgcet.vtu.ac.in and take a print out of the same on an A4 size paper only.

Candidates should submit the completely filled application form, to the PGCET Cell, either in person or may send by post / courier along with the following documents.

1. One set of attested photocopies (attested by the gazette officer) of all the relevant documents. Original Documents need not be sent along with the completedapplication form)

2. A D.D. for Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- only for Karnataka SC/ST & Cat- I, on production of documentary proof) drawn in favour of Member Secretary CPAC, payable at Belgaum .

3. A self addressed envelope of size 12” x 10” (without affixing any postal stamp) for dispatching the Brochure.
