Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd, emerged as a new Company in 2002 after its de-merger from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. The production units of the  Corporation situated in Namrup, Assam have been revamped and modernized recently. BVFCL having two Ammonia and two Urea plants in operation with total production capacity of 5.55 lakh MT of Urea per annum invites applications from Indian nationals for the following posts:

1. General Manager (Marketing) / Dy. General Manager (Marketing)

• Scale of Rs.20500-500-26500/- (pre-revised) / Rs.18500-450-23900/- (pre-revised).
• Qualification & Experience :- Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture or MBA with specialization in Marketing. Minimum 20/16 years experience in the line, out of which at least 8 / 6 years in senior managerial/executive position. The position requires an aggressive, well motivated person with proven record in organizing marketing of agriculture inputs, preferably fertilizer on All India basis.
• Age limit:- Maximum 55 / 53 years as on 01.10.2010

2. Area Manager (Marketing)

• scale of Rs.13000-350-18250/-(pre-revised)- (02 posts)
• Qualification & Experience :- MSc(Agri) / BSc (Agri) (MBA in Marketing desirable). Minimum 8/10 years experience in Marketing of Urea, MOP, seeds & pesticides.
• Age limit:- Maximum 48 years as on 01.10.2010

3. Sales Officer

• scale of Rs.8600-250-14600/-(pre-revised)- (03 posts)
• Qualification & Experience :- MSc(Agri) / BSc (Agri) (MBA in Marketing desirable). Minimum 3 / 5 years experience in Marketing of Urea, MOP, seeds & pesticides.
• Age limit:- Maximum 40 years as on 01.10.2010
